Dieses Nationalgericht wurde wahrscheinlich Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts in Nordvietnam erfunden.
Durch die chinesische Besatzung kamen Gewürze und Reisbandnudeln nach Vietnam und mit den Franzosen das rote
Rindfleisch und die Rinderbrühe. Eine Theorie besagt, dass „Pho“ auf das französische „Pot au feu“ zurückzuführen sei.
Die Kräuter der heimischen vietnamesischen Flora runden die Nudelsuppe ab.
Die Basis unserer Suppe ist eine kräftige Rinderbrühe, die mindestens sechs Stunden gekocht wird. Verschiedene
Gewürze wie Sternanis und Zimt verfeinert sie. Serviert wird sie mit Reisbandnudeln, Koriander, Lauchzwiebeln, Ingwer
und Pfeffer.
This national dish was probably invented in northern Vietnam at the beginning of the 20th century.
The Chinese occupation brought spices and rice noodles to Vietnam and the French brought red beef and beef broth. According to
